I had to laugh to myself last night. All those news reporters standing by in various resorts along the East coast. Clad in anoraks, wellies, waders, scarves, hats, flippers etc. Eagerly awaiting their excitement for the biggest tidal surge for 60 years.
No doubt they had gathered groups of old people (so they could ask them how they felt about having their homes destroyed), scenes of fast flowing rivers, people stacking sandbags, police, firemen, councillors. All set for the biggest media frenzy of the week and then....
