All of a sudden, I'm seeing some absolutely massive bees around the place. I was working in the garage workshop yesterday, and was interrupted by bees no less than five times. One was flying dangling a foot long trail of something, I'm guessing it had flown into a spiders web. I was incredulous, that such a large body, with such tiny wings, could fly at all. Are these queens, seeking out somewhere to set up a nest?
