We have had a lot of plastering done in the last year and I have found it really difficult to get emulsion paint to adhere and cover the metal beads.
So on some new plastering, I had the thought to buy some metal primer in white and spray the beads only first. Thinking that the primer will stick to the metal better and provide a good key for the emulsion.
Has anyone tried this out?

Haven't tried that but have had result with Zinsser B I N - shellac based .white. use cheap brush and throw away.;)
