Not all unions are bad .. But a few, due mostly to 'rank and file' apathy allowing the activists to ascend, are pretty loathsome ...

I think that is just criminal. It would be bad enough if it was a firm of financial advisers who may not have fully understood the legal aspects of the deal, but this is fully qualified Lawyers preying on the vulnerable and legally ignorant. It is a disgrace, and the investigation should be a criminal one as it looks like simple fraud to me. The company and it's directors should be struck off and prevented from practising law or being a director of any compnay again.
