Asil returns under bail, he was never 'technically' on bail originally hence the pilot who flew him away finally got off following conviction... Blimey, no one noticed, straight off?

...Mr Dimond was arrested in January 1998 and spent three months on remand before being convicted of perverting the course of justice at the Old Bailey in August 1998. The Court of Appeal quashed the conviction on the basis that, technically, Nadir was not on bail at the time he fled...

Nadir returns ? Has he received the 'nod' ??

The timing is hardly surprising...

He said the 'climate of justice has changed'...

More like a change of government, and the Tories always look after those with dosh - especially when some of it has gone their way...

I wonder what conversations are being had at the moment in the ministry of injustice? ;)

Ah, how quickly the Trendy Lefties forget about Teflon Tony & his 'cash for honours'. Or how the IRA supporter John Reid got a full refund on his MP expenses!!
