When I put my heating on the pipes bang and clang in the Garage (that is where my boiler is) to solve the propblem i've found that turning on the hot tap in the bathroom (which is above the garage) letting it run for 30 seconds, water and air gush out and then all is well for about 1 1/2 hours. I have bled the radiators, how else can i fix this problem.

Many thanks

Kate

PS Merry Christmas!!!!!

I am not very bright i know this, i have read what you have suggested, does he bath filler mean the taps? and i put the sponge and the carrier bag tightly against the cold tap?

sponge trick is for airlock in tap pipes, unlikely to work for the heating.
make sure you are reading the posts for heating airlock, different causes and different solutions
