need for shower cross bonding

hello all

thanks in advance for your responses

When putting in a 10.8 kw electric shower

with plastic pipes running under (tanked) floor and behind tiled walls.

should the cross bonding in the room be connected to the earth terminal on the shower?

If not, or instead, should it be connected to the shower earth lead at the shower isolation switch (just outside the room)

It needs to connect to the shower circuit earth. If it's easier to do it at the switch, then do it there.
