Neff V5340X2GB/07 wash drier spinning but not drying,no heat

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help!

My Neff V5340X2GB/07 washer dryer is not drying it spins ok but the clothes are still wet when I take them out and they are cold.

The wash facility is working fine.

My husband over loaded the dryer and it hasn't worked since then (the 1 time he does the drying etc etc )

I'm really hoping it's an easy (and cheap!) fix!!!

A good place to start would be to unplug the machine, remove the lid, & check the dryer element/thermostat/NTC with a multimeter.
The element is mounted in an aluminium box just under the lid, the thermostat & NTC are mounted on the side of the heater box.
