Nest Gen3 Heat Link repair

Hi,

A new vid from Big Clive, showing the repair of a heat link - Well, I thought it was interesting! :

Can we answer Clive's question? Has anyone come across multiple heat link failures?

Not yet. The terminals on those Nests are the biggest bugbear; they're too small. The MIs even suggest linking the L to the relays

I would agree terminals too small, I have a wiring centre directly under the heat link as so tight for room. Mine has not failed yet.

Terminals are fine if you use 0.75mm flex and twin entry bootlace ferrules

Fitted over 100 Nests and not one failure
