new bathroom suite, low hw flow

replaced old bath and basin in ensuite of dormer bungalow(upstairs), but hot water flow is awful. The cold tank is only about 2ft above hot tank in the dormer and can't be moved higher. Cold water is mains, and flow in downtairs taps is fine.Wife wanted monobloc mixer for the basin,used flexi to connect but not kinked.
Would a pump solve the problem or any other suggestions please?
