Hi,

I have two bottle air vents installed on the heating circuit (unvented) of my house. One on the flow side of an unvented cylinder and one on the return side of the cylinder. One of the bottle vents has started leaking slightly so i put the dustcap on it to stop any further leaking (and venting). Is it ok to leave the system with just one working bottle vent or shall i replace the other faulty bottle vent (so i then have two working bottle vents)?

Thanks,
John

hi john
some automatic air vents should not be left in the open position all the time, check manufactures instructions,-& check manufactures instructions on your unvented hw cylinder to see if you need the two,as long as you
check it every now and then you should be ok,i would'nt bust a gut to change it,i would wait untill you next did work on your heating
