Looks like the refugees from (eg.) BG who left because they didn't like the Tracker and automated time- and appointment-checking have found a safe alternative billet at Onstream! Anyone here know anything about the quality of the management there?
I just heard of a case where a meter-change appointment has been blown-out twice running! First time, a card wasslipped through the door at about 4p.m. (appointment was 'afternoon'). There was definitely someone waiting in the house and the bell definitely didn't ring. I thought that old trick to get an early finish was just too well-known to work any more!
Second time, two days later after a re-booking, was for a tighter slot (after 12, before 3pm). This time, no-one turned up at all.
Trouble is that a lot of the energy suppliers have no in-house gas-meter skills, so many at the moment use Onstream instead. Possibly a mistake!
