Optima xm6 Alarm Panel

Can anyone help with a problem on the above. Recently had an electrician extend pir cables by taking off front of pir and crimping on extentions. Alarm went off so entered code to disable. Now tamper light on permantly and I dont have engineers code as original code changed about 4 years ago...

Any ideas

either he has done it wrong, or the covers are not on strait / level or bad connection or wrong terminal (it does happen) or you have not followed the "reset" procedure

Also noted today that none of the buttons now work on the panel.. Could this be due to the same fault

possibly, i will gues he has blown a fuse, only a guess mind.
