I've got a small window above our bedroom door which lets the light in. Unfortunately, I have trouble sleeping because of this. I don't want to remove the window and board it over but would prefer to paint it white. Does anyone know the best paint to use for glass. Obviously I want it white but completely opaque so that no light shines through it. Would tile paint be best for this?

I have a vague feeling you can use ceramic tile paint for this, but there is proper primer for use on glass that works well.
The alternative is to cut a board the right size. Paint both sides white, remove the inner or outer beading arfound the glass, put the board over the glass and re-bead it. that way if you ever change you mind the glass is still there...
