I have just bought a house, while working on the electrics I have noticed that two ring mains, and one looks to have been added at a later point for an extension.
There is no record of this in the paper work we have for the house.

I wan't to keep all my work up to date as I go a long with part P's etc, but this is already done.

How can I get this added as the part P is usually done at least before plastering is done? Can a certified electrition check it and do the paper work, or do I need an inspector?

Calm down, oddity ( ;) )

Read up on what Part P actually is before you start getting upset about it!

There's plenty of info in the Wiki section.

(Then read up about regularisation - retrospective building regs approval.)

could well still have happened before part P was introduced though.

If there aren't any faults with the new ring then i really would not worry about it.
