Hi folks
Over time (and pressure washing) most of the cement has come out of the gaps between our paving slabs. An example is in the photo. The gaps are approx 1.5cm. I've got myself confused looking at the various options of sand, mortar etc.
What's the easiest DIY option here?
thanks!

rake out all the existing mortar down to the bottom of the slabs. sharp sand and cement ~4:1, choose a colour of sand that suits the rest of the patio, mix fairly firm and trowel in. Use a hosepipe or round bit of wood to "strike" the mortar when it has started to set properly, if you time that bit right the loose stuff that rolls out will not stick to the surface, wait a bit then brush off the loose overfill.

You could just brush in sika compound. Really easy to use and doesn't mark the slabs. Just prep and wet the area and brush it through the gaps..
Will be more expensive than mortar but really good finish
