Hi,

Has anyone used 'peel away' on cornicing?
I have just bought a traditional old flat and the detailed cornicing has been over painted to such an extent that the gaps in the cornice has been filled in with paint. Someone said to try peel away. Would this work and does anyone have any tips?

Thanks!

Never used it..it can be done with hot water somtimes..

Spray a small area and use a sharp tool like a 'frenchman' to dig away at it..once your through the normal emulsion the stuff undernest should come away easy as its probably whitewash/distemper

Long ol job though
