Hardware - Celeron 1.2GHz - Promise ultra 133MHz controller card - fired together, sorted and running.

Pip-stone :wink: performance check.

Previous time for Norton Ghost backup (in Dos) of 20 GB HDD (2.85 GB free), with full compression = 46 mins
Time for verification = 18 mins

Present time for backup settings and size as above = 23 mins !!!
Verification = 7.3 mins.

I am pleased with that. :D :D :D 'Til it all goes Bang which sounds like kerching ££ :wink:

Hey up ! Boot screen says 1200 Celeron... ( Dell says it may be untrue ).
WCPUID Vers. 3.3 Says 1400 MHz ??
M$ Sys info says 1400 MHz
PowerLeap's (supplier of processor) configurator says 1.4GHz
Uncle Tom 'kin Cobbly says 1400 ....
