Plasterboard - which side ?

I have to break into my roof-space to remove a wasps nest. I shall make good the hole with dry-wall/plasterboard and then plaster/artex over. Is there a correct side of the plasterboard to receive the plaster or doesn't it matter ?

The white side that doesn't have the numbers on it.
