Hey everyone
I'm stripping the walls of a kitchen to plaster over and have come accross a big sheet of chipboard covered in wallpaper. Instead of stripping the paper off it by soaking the thing, can I just plaster over the lot? Or for the sake of a few quid will i rip it out and put in a sheet of plasterboard?
Any advice appreciated.

I think you've pretty much answered your own question here

I think you might be right! Man I'm so lazy!!
Is it possible though or would the plaster just crack after a while?

No reason for the plaster to crack..presumably your going to get a plasterer in to do it...ask him to pay attention to the joints
