Hello,

I am planning to use these: https://www.ags-systems.info/en/skirting-boards/c70-profile/ drywall profiles to make the installation of flush skirtings as simple as possible in a timber framed extension.

I won't be plastering myself but because of the long lead times on getting these I am trying to get ahead so I know some answers before talking to a plasterer.

My issue (probably really naive I know) is the 3mm upstand that sits behind the last 25mm of the plasterboard, my brain says that this will kick the plasterboard out too much at the bottom and make it really hard to get a nice flat finish on the wall.

There is an option to use the solid wall version of the profile which doesn't have the upstand but I would really appreciate if anyone has any experience of using these or anything similar and whether I need to worry about it or not.

Any advice very much appreciated.

Patrick
