I have installed a mixer shower to our bathroom but the hot water pressure isn't good enough to make it work correctly. Can anybody tell me if I can fit a pump just to the hotwater as the cold is fine. Both hot and cold are spurred of from the pipes that supply the bath taps. We have a hot water tank that is on the landing therefore not above the shower but the cold water tank is in the loft. Do I need to but a pump on both or just the hot ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. [/b]

sounds like your running cold mains hot gravity.

you need to have both supplies with equal pressures
easiest way is to supply both from the cylinder and cws and add a twin pump saves getting alot of problems later on.
