I have a potterton profile 60e. It has worked with no problems for over a year. (Since I got the house) There have been no recent changes to the system but I have started to have the following problem.

The pilot light is constantly on (It should go out when not in use i think) The boiler will not ignite. I can hear it attempting repeatedly turning on the fan and trying to start etc.

If I open the front of the boiler and blow out the pilot light, Then close it all up again the boiler will start perfectly. When it next turns off the pilot stays on and the bioler will not ignite again. (until i blow out the pilot.) Any help would be appreciated.
