potterton profile 50

Can anyone help my potterton profile 50 boiler wont work, i turned it on this morning and notting happened i took off the cover and when i turn it on notting at all is happening the fan does not even start, when i turn it on i can hear a small click in at the control board and that is it. checked pump and that works but thats it. Ill have to call an engineer but any ideas what the prob might be? thanks

If the fan dosent start you wont get an ignition sequence,therefore no start up,you need a RGI

Have you made sure that the overheat hasn't activated? Small hole underneath controls cover and press button.

Pressed reset button but still no joy, i checked power to fan down at pcb but pcb is sending no power to fan so my guess is pcb is gone since fan is the first thing to come into play in the ignition sequence on this boiler.
