I have a pressurised boiler & want to install a power shower but have been told by local plumbers that this cannot be done. Is this the case?

It's impossible to give you a reasonable answer without full information about your heating system, including make and model of your boiler.

By pressurised boiler do you mean a combi, system boiler or are you refering to you hot water cylinder being a mains un-vented type?

I often get calls about a faulty boiler, only to turn up and get directed to the hot water cylinder

If you have a combi or mains pressure hot water cylinder then your plumbers are correct.

Come to service you boiler mrs, follow them upstair with hoover tools etc to be shown a cylinder used to happen at least once a week in my servicing days.
