Evening,
I'm painting a Versailles planter I've made and want to use some left over Dulux Weathersheild paint for topcoats (x2).
I don't really want to buy Dulux undercoat or primer (as spec'd for the weathersheild), so is Zinsser BIN 123 ok for this?
I have plenty of the Zinsser already....

No.

Zinsser BIN should only be used for exterior spot priming. I don't know why but it says that on their website. I think you might be confused about which Zinsser product you have. Zinsser BIN is one product. Zinsser 123 is a different product.

I suspect that BIN isn't flexible enough to deal with the energy from UV light radiation, but I am only guessing.

I misspoke....I've got the Bulls Eye 123.
