Bedroom with walls of 2 different colour old emulsion, after stripping wallpaper.
!'ve done quite a lot of filling, sanded well and washed down.
So I have patches of white filler, old blue (looks like eggshell emulsion) and old beige with some patches of blue beneath.
Will be finished with matt greyish emulsion.
Question is, do I need to apply a primer (if so what?) on all the walls or just where patched with filler?
Or thin the first coat of emulsion prior to further coats?
Thanks

You only need to spot prime any filler or exposed plaster. Dilute emulsion will be fine (it should tell you how much water to use on the back of the tin).

Thanks, I used some primer on the plaster and filler as you advised.
Will see what happens with first coat of emulsion if SWMBO ever decides on the colour!
