Hi all, was hoping someone might be able to help me with a boiler problem I'm having. Have just got the keys to a flat I have bought which was reposessed. The water was all switched off and the hot water/central heating system drained. I have switched everything back on, and turned on the tap under the boiler (glow.worm 24ci).

When I turned the blue tap to initially fill the system up, a bluey clear liquid leaked heavily from the underside of the boiler. I took off the front cover, flipped down the controls, turned the fill on again and saw that the fluid comes straight out a circular shaped opening on the underside of the pump.

I dont know a lot about central heating, but I cannot see or feel anything up in the opening on the pump. I wondered if maybe it had been drained from there and there was supposed to be a plug/screw. Any help on this would be much appreciatted pls, dont know what to do now other than get a plumber out
