Proline Dishwasher

I have a slim line 4 place proline dishwasher, sticks on a programme, will run all night if you let it, but the element works as very hot when I can get the thing to empty.
Could it be the programmer/timer?
Is it worth a repair or is it cheque book job?

You have a thermostat fault, google for the part this mc is exclusive to comet .
