Our bush button flush sticks open, so the water runs into the bowl constantly.
I used to just push the button in a few times and it reset. Now i have to lift the lid of the cistern off and stretch out the cable, then push the button and it pops back into position.
So something is wrong. I understand dirt gets in between the flap and the cistern, but i dont think this is the issue.
Are these cable flush valves not as good as the rod ones. Those ones where you cut 2 plastic rods to engage the flush mechanism.
Thinking of just replacing the flush valve for a new one, or is there a fix i have over looked ?
