Hi,

We are looking to buy a dishwasher for our new kitchen, however, the only place it can go is at the end of the units which is about 2 metres away from the open ended stand pipe which is behind the units.

Im guessing I can get extension hoses for the water inlet and outlet pipes, however my main query is am I ok to have two outlet hoses going into the top of the open ended stand pipe?

The washing machine currenty hooks on there and was hoping I could just do the same with the dishwasher?

Any advice chaps?

Thanks!

shouldnt be a problem as there are sink traps with 2 inlets for a washing machine & dishwasher waste pipes on the market so it should be fine as long as the stand pipe is pretty much clear so it can take the amount of water if both are on at the same time,
