I have a rad in my bathroom that doesn't work. I have drained, flushed, replaced valves, bled & balanced but still no joy.
When I bleeed, the Flow pipe gets hot. If I take the bleed off then water (hot) pours out. As soon as it is replaced/shut the hot starts to cool down & within 5 minutes is stone cold.
The return has about 4 90deg bends in short succession before it disappears into the back of the airing cupboard, when it can just have a single 90 to do the same job.
Is a blocked return causing this problem and will replacing the pipework solve it?
Many thanks
