Hi, i want to remove a single radiator in order to do some work beihnd it. When i remove the radiator can i still use the the back boiler to get hot water or do i have to completely turn of the central heating system .Thanks

Yes you can.

Isolate the radiator (by the valves each side). Drain and remove. The heating / hot water will not be affected.

Might be a good idea to get your hand into the bottom of the expansion tank to feel how much sludge you will be introducing into the system when you refill your radiator.
