Hi I have put a few radiators in, in the past but I am DIY not professional, so how tight can you tighten the stubs into the radiator, or how tight would you do them? I think I read somewhere that they are slightly tapered. I a always scared they will wind into the radiator completely, is that possible or will they just go very tight?

I am currently fitting some 4-column rads and the stud seems to be going in a long way so that the thread just about disappears before they get tightish. I have put 10 rounds of PTF tape on them first.

I would appreciate any tips or info please.
