Hello the problem I'm having is with my radiators maybe needing bled the livingroom and two bedrooms are roasting ( all have stats on the bottom right corner ) but the hall and two toilets ( with no stat controllers ) are only lukewarm at the top but roasting at the bottom it looks like there is a bleeding valve on the top right corner with a white cap around it which spins but the valve itself looks as though it needs a slotted driver turned in it any help would be much appreciated. Also my baby girl has been turning the lock shield valve on bottom left of radiator so don't know if that has anything to do with it

you need a bleed key, a screwdriver will work but a bleed key is always useful, the spinny plastic cap is just to direct where you want the air then water to come out when venting..

you can remove the lock shield head to stop it being adjusted.

Ok thanks I will get a bleed key ASAP is there any way the lock shield caps need to be turned before I take them off they have a directional arrow to plus and minus and say 10 bar on them

I don't know what type of system you have but you need to get someone to sort out your problem with air in the system. bleeding radiators makes sludge. and that is bad for the system.javascript:emoticon(':(')
