RADIATORS UPSTAIRS ONLY HALF FULL ## NO AIR##

I HAVE A PUMPED SYSTEM an have fit a new pump. i rained down and now the upstaires rads will not fill abovee half. the boiler only comes on for a few seconds then goes out. after 3 hours the rads upstaires gat half hot and downstaires all cold. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP.

p-s could it be the motorised vave stuck not letting water in.

More likely to be a blocked cold feed - do a search on this forum.

it could not be the moter valve then and thank you for the quick response

would the cold water feed be joind below the pump 22mm

The cold feed should be within 150mm of the open vent. Since one is 22mm and the other is usually 15mm and both go up it should be easy to identify.

For conclusive proof that it is blocked, bungee up your header tank valve and drain doen again. If the header tank is still full of water then it is blocked.
