System gunged up by corrosion. Needs cleaning out followed by correct inhibitor.

I HAVE RECENTLY DRAINED DOWN THE HEATING SYSTEM TO MOVE HEADER TANK. IT HAS BEEN MOVED FURTHER AWAY FROM THE BOILER, WATER FEED AND EXPANSION PIPE. WOULD THIS HAVE ANY EFFECT AS TO WHY THE RADIATORS ARE HOT AT THE TOP AND COLLER AT THE BOTTOM?
