Radio memory wiring

We have a radio fitted to our van. but when the ignition key is removed the radio memory pre sets are lost. I understand that the yellow wire from the radio should be connected to a switchable 12v+ , would anyone know where this wire can be connected, as there dosn't seem to be a place for it in the van wiring . Thanks

You need a permanent (unswitched) live to keep the memory going. Usually, if the maker's connections are still in the dash behind the radio and no numbskull has cut them off, you will find it in a big connector block.

You don't say what sort of van you have, and I haven't got a workshop manual for it, so can't help.
