Rain jacket ink stains

My granddaughter marked the back of my rain jacket in a lot of places with a ball point pen. The material has a kind of rubbery feel to it. I have tried several things to remove ink stains with no luck. Could someone please help?
 
Isopropyl alcohol or methylated spirits might do it. Apply some with a clean cloth and dab off. However it might damage the finish on the fabric so it would be prudent to try it on a hidden bit first.
