Hi i have a csi85 boiler in witch the red overheat light comes on 20 seconds after turning boiler on,
So far i have done the following blow in to the APS.
cleaned the CH thermostat.
If i disconect the thermostats the light still comes on is this correct or should it not.
I think it could possibly the thermostat that is faulty any ideas

boiler is 2 years old

Firstly boiler has a 3 year warranty

How far is the boiler getting before locking out?

Red light is ignition lock out.

You dont blow INTO an APS unless you want to damage it!

Tony

Are there 2 indicator lights on the front or 3?

If theres only 2 are you sure the light isn't orange?

It doesn't have a thermostat !

The boiler may not have a thermostat but he has one on the wall!!!

figured it out the APS and the CH thermistor Part number 0007TER05005/0
where both faulty.
Well the APS i may have damaged as the red light only appeared after blowing in to it
no boiler was purchased about 2 weeks before ravenheat extended there warranty.
To be honest great boiler but seems to have reliability issues looking on the forum
