hiya,

I am about to begin refurbishing an old pine floor [facenailed boards] and I would like to know,

*what is the best thing/tool to use to strip them?

[I have the nitromorse but don't know what to take it off with scraper etc to prevent damage]

*how can I take up all the boards without removing any skirting?

thankyou

Probably impossible to lift the floorboards without removing the skirting. Instead of lifting the boards to refurbish them, why not hire a floor sander? A lot easier IMHO and certainly wouldn't cause half the damage you will do by lifting the boards.
