I have an old Damixa kitchen tap, hard plumbed into a Franke kitchen sink. Any ideas how to remove it as I haven't seen this kind of connector before and access is tricky

May be some sort of a top down easy release though only ever seen Bristans easyfit. Does the tap have a grub screw at the base on the rear of the tap?

I have remove two grub screws from the base of the tap. Have tried to pull the tap up without much success. Not sure if it needs more force but loathe to use more force in case i break the tap

Have you already removed a brass nut from that threaded rod?

If not and there are grub screws at the bottom of the tap it would suggest it's a top down fixing. May be hard to lift if the O-Rings are tight in there.

Haven't remove any rod and think you might be right about top fixing so going to try a bit of brute force. Thanks for the reply

I think (and could be wrong) that silver threaded rod will have a screwdriver slot in it... remove the rod and then the U-part may be able to move / drop down.

What happens after that I've no idea... as it don't look like it'll fit through the nylon load spreader hole; nor does it look like it'll spread apart so as to unclip? But it might?

+1 regarding the screwdriver slot. The rod in post #5 seems to show one.
