Motning All,

I am screwing down floorboards before hard boarding them in readiness for carpet. I have a slim section of crumbling concrete that I can hide but am thinking should repair. Is it best to use screed or self levelling compound?

The concrete butts up against the floorboard and spans the width of 6 floorboards and is 3 inch in width.

Cheers

can you not take the concrete up and bridge over with the floorboards?

you may have to extend the joists as i presume the concrete section is where a small wall has been removed?

a photo would help so i can see what your talking about.
