replacement handles for uncommon taps

hi there.
i would like to replace the tap handles on a bath tap but i am having difficulties finding ones that fit.

the valve/cartridge spline is 10mm in diameter and has 16 teeth divided into 4 groups of 4 teeth by slits in the spline. the taps are full turn as opposed to quarter turn.
i have attached pictures.

the reason i would like to replace the handles is that they are difficult to tighten due to lack of grip, so i am looking to replace with a cross handle for example.

any help finding replacement handles or identifying the manufacturer would be much appreciated.

Replacement washers and a bit of a clean/grease will help with that.

yes grease will help you grip the handles

thanks mfarrow, but i tried that already. it helped but not enough.
