Hi I have just inherited some really nice paintings and photographic prints printed straight on to canvas but they have been sitting in a barn for years and have layers of general dust/grease I wonder if anyone can tell me what I can use to clean them up a bit without damaging thanks

You need to find out what the original medium is. Oil/acrylic/waterclour.

They are large canvases with photos printed onto them somehow one is bright red background with the print of a blown up body part, one is a black background with the print of a white shirt and the other is a rather grubby natural background with the same print reproduced 4 times. I have looked the artist up (Yehuda Neiman) and similar works are simply described as photograph on canvas ..any Help would be appreiated Thanks

Start very gently.
Begin by vaccumming the surface with the hose held about 1 1/2" -2" away from the surface. Next step would be to lightly brush the surface whilist vacumming with a soft brush such as a sable hair brush just to loosen dirt.
If after that it still needs work try on the edge or in a corner a cotton bud dampened with distilled water and roll the bud over the surface don't be tempted to rub it at all.
