I have partially boarded my attic but have this one beam going across the full width of the roof, are there any suggestions on strengthening the existing beams to enable me to remove it??? View media item 40462

Nothing cheap.. if its just storage space then best live with it.. if its a conversion then a couple of steel beams or more should do the job..
