s51e50x3gb neff takes ages and light still flashing

Hi, can anyone help?

Our Neff intergrated dishwasher (s51e50x3gb) takes ages to wash.

Recently the light on the floor externally has been flashing whilst washing where it used to be a constant light whilst it was washing and turns out when complete.

Any suggestions as I can find anything anywhere suggesting what it might be.
