samsung remote control

hi all, the remote control for my mothers tv has stopped working, only the volume buttons work. we have had this prob before but i cant remember how we reset it . the model number is aa59-00357a. we know it is not the batteries or the tv as this happened to me when i owned it and we gave it to her when we got a new tv, was hoping someone might have a cure.

thanks for that i found what i was looking for i needed to remove the batteries and hold down the power button for 30 seconds and it worked
