Finally shelled out on Garmin Nüvi 300 SatNav
Easily fits shirt top pocket .. in neat little protective pouch.

I am well impressed ! Forced plenty of recalcs for journey ;) kit was very quick in sorting those.
PGPSWorld speedcam database, was spot on, an excellent little reminder.

Points of Interest .. Local Banks, car parks and other facilities from onboard database - very useful... set the parked car as a POI - eventually returned to it, right on the money.

3.3 hrs Use from battery in full satnav mode no better or worse than spec'. (deliberately ran Nüvi on internal battery only). Neat trip compute etc... excellent touch screen with, I thought, intuitive menus.

Well impressed....
BTW If it missed a real taxcam - I didn't see the beggar ! Warnings were not invasive, airline style tone or 'bonnng' which, in the case of the taxcams continued, if necessary, until reduction to legal speed or cam location passed by.
AdamW where ever he may be, gave a good account of a Garmin Street pilot back in the mists of Notters time - some say 'in the good old days'.

:D
