just though i would share this bit of bullsh## with you all we joined a schools and college,plus universities directory last year,the idea is if people in any of the above want a trade they log on to their site and hey presto you get a regulor supply of work, they issue a 450 page directory to back up the www. site, all very nice trouble is when u try to entre the site to see if u have got any work u cant get in and when u phone the contact number no reply the name of the project is S.C.E.M.E.S. they issue you with loads of crap including the educational buyers directory of suppliers, they enter you in it ,but i dont think they issue it to any schools or buyers so dont touch it with a big pole there sales pitch is spot on u have been warned

Just had a glimpse at their website and they do claim that their directory is sent out to the headteacher of every school in the UK. They also provide a 'contact us' facility. Neither I nor my wife have heard of this particular publication, but will check it out tomorrow and get back to you.

we think it is just a big advert site plus directories, with no real substance other than seeing your name in print . they talk the talk but you fall flat waiting to walk the walk

Just had a browse through their directory and was really quite shocked at how very limited it is. For example, it listed 3 painter and decorators in the whole of the Birmingham area with phone numbers and further details available. Tried the same with electricians in the east of Scotland and again got 3, one in Aberdeen, one in Hawick and one elsewhere. Have you had a look at their site and the directory?
